Faith is responsible
Why do some achieve more, others less, and others nothing, if the God they seek is the same?
“Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well…” Mark 10.52
This was Jesus’ answer to all who achieved the miracle they dearly sought.
It is noticeable that Jesus was not the One who healed them, but it was actually the faith they manifested that was responsible for their healing. If Jesus was responsible for the healing and salvation of all, everyone, without exception, would be healed and saved. However, since it is faith that heals and saves, only those who manifested their faith were healed and saved. Also, why did some receive, and others did not? It was because some manifested their faith and others did not. The same is true today; that was the way it happened and the way it will continue to happen.
The Lord Jesus wanted to make it very clear that, in order to receive what we want, we depend exclusively on the faith we manifest. The fact that you are a good person or that God exists is not enough to receive His miracles. We know that if we do good, we reap good fruits, and that it is God who grants these miracles, but it is only by faith that we conquer the things we need. Faith is the exchange currency, the price to be paid in order to take possession of the things we want from God.
Why do some achieve more, others less, and others nothing, if the God they seek is the same? The difference is not in the God they seek, but in the faith they manifest. Those who conquer more, manifest more faith. Those who conquer less, manifest less faith. Those who conquer nothing, manifest no faith. What differentiates one kind of faith from the other is not its size, but how often it has been exercised and manifested.
Your blessing does not depend on God or any third party. If it were up to God, He would have already granted it from the beginning. If it depended on third parties, you would probably never achieve anything. Your blessing depends on you and the faith you manifest.
Faith, just like salvation, is individual and non-transferable. Not even God can do your part. For this reason, it is useless to lean on the mercy of God and wait for something to fall from the sky. Much less to depend on the faith of others. Go in your own faith so that you may reap the fruits of whatever you have the faith to plant and reach wherever you believe you can reach.
Now go, because YOUR faith will save you.
