Faith in Action

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in 2002. He was born with only two healthy legs.
Of course he wasn’t able to walk like a normal puppy when he was born. Not even his mother wanted him.

His first owner didn’t think he could survive and was considering “putting him to sleep”.
But then, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and decided that she wanted to take care of him. She was determined to teach and train this little dog to walk on his own.

She named him “Faith”.

At first, she put Faith on a surfboard to let him feel the movement.

Later, she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump.

Even the other dog she had at home encouraged Faith to walk.
Amazingly, after only six months, Faith miraculously learned to balance himself on his hind legs and jump, to move forward.

After training in the snow, he learned to walk like a human being.

Now, Faith loves to walk around.

Everywhere he goes, he attracts attention. He is quickly becoming famous on the international scene and has appeared in several newspapers and TV programs.

There was a book published about him, entitled With A Little Faith and he was even considered to appear in one of the Harry Potter movies.

His current owner, Jude Stringfellow, has given up her job as a teacher and plans to travel with him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, you can still have a perfect soul.

There are always undesirable situations in life, so to make yourself feel better you must look at life from a different aspect.

I hope this message will bring a fresh perspective to everyone and remind you to appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day.

Faith is the continual demonstration of the strength and wonder of life (that God created).
