Everything depends on this

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7.24-27

A wise person is attentive, cautious, discreet, well-prepared, forewarned, prudent, and vigilant. In other words, this person always chooses to follow the Truth, knowing that it will reward his conscience with peace and tranquility. Jesus guarantees: THIS HOUSE DID NOT FALL BECAUSE IT WAS BUILT ON THE ROCK (TRUTH).

Foolish is a “nice” way of describing someone that is unstable, demented, crazy, irrational, insane, or senseless.

In other words, a fool is anyone who opposes reason, common sense, and wants to take advantage of everything, no matter the price to pay. So, he chooses lies, deception, theft, corruption… This is, the easiest way. In the end, the chance of tragedy is 100%. Jesus guarantees: GREAT WILL BE HIS FALL.

Everything in life depends on these Words.

Professional success depends on this;

Financial success depends on this;

Building a stable and happy home depends on this;

Your love life depends on this;

Life depends on this;

The Salvation of the soul depends on this;

EVERYTHING depends on these Words.

Those who are wise will understand this extraordinary teaching of the Lord Jesus, because it is clear that both the wise and the foolish are affected by the same problems: THE RAIN FELL, THE RIVERS OVERFLOWED, THE WINDS BLEW AND BEAT AGAINST THEIR HOUSES…

The house represents a person’s personal life, family, career, business, love life; this is, it is everything that relates to the person himself.

Also, it is noteworthy that the Lord is referring to everyone that hears the Word. This does not exclude anyone. Therefore, both the wise and the foolish have access to the Word and also have the same right to obey or disobey. Everyone that hears is responsible for their Salvation before the Almighty.
