You don’t need to be a straight A student to do the math…

ANALYZE how much the Holy Spirit has done for you,

How much less are you suffering since making a covenant with the Lord Jesus,

How much peace of mind,

Recovered night’s sleep,

Overall, a better quality of life…

Surely you will be surprised.

Don’t consider the unrealized dreams.

After all, during this journey through the desert to the Promised Land, there are still many accomplishments to achieve,

But, let’s face it, a lot has happened, right?

In addition, these blessings are evidence of a promising future. It is the voice of faith that guarantees this.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us… Hebrews 12.1

Do you remember when you first came to Church?

A disfigured countenance, a feeble smile, a resigned expression…

And how about today?

Frustrations, disappointments, low self-esteem, past traumas, unloved; overall, everything was cast into the fires of hell.

Not that you will no longer have any more problems, no!

But they are under your feet, because the power of faith is inside you, there is an energy that emanates from the Throne of God, that sustains your strength every day to fight and overcome on your own.

It is the Spirit of the One that you devoted your life to working inside you!

Know this: whether you believe it or not, the Spirit of the Lord Jesus is with you!

Like a traditional Portuguese Christian hymn says:

Count your blessings, count how many there are and you’ll be surprised with how much God has done…
