Disabilities
A “poor” person is someone who’s unable to change their life; passively accepting what people and society impose upon them, unaware that they are the master of their own destiny.
A “fool” is someone who is unable to be happy with what they have.
A “blind” person is someone who doesn’t see their neighbor dying from the cold, hunger or poverty because they only have eyes for their own insignificant problems and afflictions.
A “deaf” person is someone who doesn’t have time to hear a friend’s burdens or a brother’s plea. They’re always busy, working in order to ensure their pay at the end of the month.
A “mute” is someone who can’t express their feelings and hides behind a mask of hypocrisy.
A “paralytic” is someone who doesn’t walk towards those who need their help.
A “diabetic” is someone who doesn’t know how to be sweet.
A “dwarf” is someone who doesn’t let love grow.
And finally, the worst disability of all is misery, because:
“Miserable” people are unable to speak with God.
“Friendship is a love that never dies.”
