Why the Holy Spirit?

Because the Holy Spirit makes us in the image of God;
Because the Spirit of Jesus makes us living witnesses of His resurrection;
Because the Spirit of the LORD resurrects us to God;
Because the Spirit of God the Father reveals God the Son to us;
Because the Helper comforts us during hard times;
Because the Spirit of power gives us strength to overcome all evil, including the world;
Because the Spirit of wisdom gives us the ability to do His will;
Because the Spirit of understanding gives us spiritual discernment;
Because the Spirit of counsel always lends us a word to offer those in need;
Because the Spirit of strength sustains us in weakness;
Because the Spirit of knowledge gives us the ability to avoid evil;
Because the Spirit of the fear of the LORD makes us walk in His paths;
Because the Holy Spirit never leaves us alone;
Because the Spirit of the Almighty guides our feelings;
Because the Spirit of Christ removes spiritual blindness and makes us see the Promised Land.
But,
if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. Romans 8.9

But, do not forget: For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones”. Isaiah 57.15
