The Great Mission

The baptism with the Holy Spirit has a single purpose: enable disciples to be living witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ on Earth.

As John the Baptist was sent by God to testify about Jesus (John 1.7), the same is true regarding those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Only those who are baptized with the Holy Spirit are chosen by God as witnesses of the resurrection of His Son Jesus.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Acts 1.8

How can you be a witness to Someone that was born, lived, died, rose and ascended to Heaven 2,000 years ago?

You were not there when this happened;

My green eyes did not see Jesus;

My imperfect hands did not touch Him.

How can I prove to others that Jesus is alive?

There is only one way: To be possessed by the same Spirit that raised Him up!
