Accept or surrender?

How many times have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, yet absolutely nothing changed in your life?

The problem is that you accepted Him, but you did not surrender to Him.

To accept Him or reject Him makes no difference.

None, until there is a complete surrender.

How can a person accept Jesus without surrendering his life, and still expect to receive a new life?

It is impossible to receive a new life without surrendering your present life.

It is impossible to have two lives at the same time.

The outpouring of the Spirit of God is subject to a complete and unconditional surrender of life to Him. It has nothing to do with accepting Him!

This is why the Lord commands:

Put onthe whole Armor of God… Ephesians 6.11

The whole Armor of God is the Fullness of God, this is, His Spirit.

In the same context, He adds:

Take upthe whole Armor of God… Ephesians 6.13

To put on or take up the whole Armor of Godit is necessary to submit or surrender your life to the Lord Jesus.

The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Faith. This is the Faith that is born of the Spirit; Faith that makes you spirit; Faith that makes it possible for a person with a bad character to become a new creation, filled with the Holy Spirit.

However, this Faith demands the sacrifice of the present life in exchange for the new life offered by the LORD.

To put on or take up the whole Armor of Godis a personal and nontransferable act made by those who really want to change their lives.
