Day 14 of the Fast of Daniel
The Unity of God
In a marriage, there are two in one, and this is good. So, imagine having three in one? The potential for success is much greater. This is what happens when we have God.
In His priestly intercession, God the Son asks God the Father for His disciples to be perfected through Unity.
I in them, and You in Me… John 17.23
We have seen that there is obedience, order, and submission in the discipline of the members of the Body of Christ. This is, there is perfect harmony even though each person has his or her own individuality.
After all, everyone born of God has the same Holy Spirit.
On the other hand, though Jesus healed many sick, freed many oppressed, and performed many miracles, very few remained.
Of the ten lepers that were healed, only one returned…
However, in the universe of those born of the Spirit, everyone remains. Why is this?
Because those born of the Spirit are spirit. Their nature is transformed. Their human, Adamic or emotional nature becomes a spiritual, godly or rational nature.
By the work of the Spirit, they lose the nature of the first Adam and assume the nature of the Second Adam – Jesus Christ. This is, they are formed by the Holy Spirit like Jesus was. And like Jesus, they are also children of God.
Only the Spirit of God begets another spirit. And only those who are begotten of Him are participants in the Unity that is in the Holy Trinity. (2 Peter 1.4)
However, even though they are spirit, the children of God are subject to the houses of clay and therefore prone to flaws…
This is why Jesus prayed that they may be perfected through Unity.
Can an undisciplined person be part of the Unity of God?
Does it make sense for a “brother” or “servant” to fight with another while being in the Unity of God?
Can there be hatred among those who live in the Unity of God?
For this reason, we conclude that those who encourage contention and discord have nothing to do with God.
Run away from them!!!
