The Glory of the Second House

Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you. 2 Samuel 7.3

These were the words said to David when he wanted to build a Temple for God.

God is the One who works in us, enabling us to desire and to work out His good purpose.

He enabled this desire in the heart of David, and He also enabled it in the heart of Bishop Macedo.

We have had the opportunity to see true “parting of the waters” in the work of God that marked a before and after, such as when the bishop was arrested in 1992. But, when it comes to the Temple of Solomon, the proportion of this new marker is beyond our understanding and our expectations, for the simple fact that the Word of God says:

‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former’, says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace’, says the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2.9

If at that time God’s answer in the Temple built by Solomon was extraordinary, imagine His answer now, in the Temple built in Sao Paulo, Brazil?

There are certain dates that are unforgettable because they mark important events. The inauguration of the Temple, in 2014, will be marked in world history and in our lives as well.
