Congratulations!
I still remember when Bishop Macedo introduced me to Bishop Roberto Augusto at the house where they used to live in Petropolis, in Rio de Janeiro.
And he said that one day my voice would spread throughout the world announcing the Universal Church; that they would not only have one radio station, but many around the world.
At that time, they were still dreaming and struggling to buy the first one, which was radio Copacabana.
Every time I think about this moment and so many other episodes from the pages that describe the chapters of my life in “I am the Universal Church”, my heart races because of the courage of Bishop Macedo’s faith in God.
There is no question that the strength of God lives in the life of the bishop.
Where, among rocks and stones, he builds doors that are opened for Salvation.
It was at the Universal Church that I learned how to dream, not like a utopia, but as a reality of life.
I learned that the road which leads to my dreams is called Sacrifice, in a place called Surrender.
I learned how to be strong in my extreme weakness, when I do not allow my feelings to dominate my reason, and keep my faith pure.
I learned that nothing and no one, except myself, can prevent God’s dreams for me.
I learned how to look forward, because that’s where my victory is, and remain on the Altar, where all achievements are born.
The Universal Church has been here for 36 years.
I walked through that door with my family when I was still a child, constantly seeing struggles, but, also seeing God’s great deeds, countless victories.
I thank the Universal Church, this door was opened for me and my family.
