Hello, bishop!

I’ve been reading your book, “Nothing to Lose”, for the last couple of days. I was touched after reading a section that I identified with very much: you went up to the altar whenever the pastor called forward those who wanted to accept Jesus.

You know, I have a great void inside. Anxiety, fear, doubt, nightmares, dependence, etc. I need to be born of God. I need to have an encounter with God. I can’t stand this life of appearance. Whoever looks at me sees a woman of God, but only God and I know what goes on inside me. I’m participating of the Fast, longing to be born of God. I want to be happy, be sure of my salvation.

Suggestion:

In order to have a new life, you must give up the old life.

A seed is not born without first dying.

In order to be born of the Spirit, you must first die to this world.

God’s all requires our all;

The recipe is sacrifice;

The walk is the sacrifice;

And the Altar is the Place of Sacrifice.

Hermon means Consecration. It is the most appropriate place to dedicate your life to the Lord, to transfigure or transform, since it was the place chosen by the Lord Jesus to be transfigured.

Bishop, I’m tired of being deceived by the devil! I can’t stand the life I’m living. So, I decided: I’m giving my all during this Fast of Daniel, and I do not accept to live without the HOLY SPIRIT. No more suffering, no more tears! I’ve been really beaten up by the devil, but now it’s his turn, in the name of the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

Bishop, I had fallen away from the Lord Jesus for many years. During that time, my life was a complete failure. Two months ago, I returned to the arms of my God and I’m determined never to leave Him again. The trials and battles are constant, but I’m never going to give up. I’m paying the price every day and I’ll continue paying the price until the Lord comes back. I’m going strong in the Fast of Daniel, and I know that God has a lot to give me.

I am having the honor of participating for the first time, after so many years of coming to Church, because my goal is to obtain the baptism with the Holy Spirit of God, who set me free from the clutches of Satan.

I am free of evil spirits in my flesh. I try to be in spirit, but the things of this world still try to take me out of God’s presence. But I’m fighting with all of my strength, and I am doing this Fast to receive the Holy Spirit again. I had Him one day, but I lost Him.

About 15 years ago, more or less, I left the Church. After that, three more times, and I did not have enough strength to seek the Spirit of God, because of my earthly struggles. I came back to the arms of Jesus, about 2 years ago. I’m diving head first into this Fast. Hell rose up against me, but I am sure that God is with me. I’m in a battle and I’m going to win because I’m going to fight until the end.

I’m sure that with this Fast of Daniel, which I am participating of correctly, doing everything that the man of God is saying, I will achieve my goal, in the name of the Lord Jesus.

I want to thank you for the opportunity of talking about the Fast of Daniel, which is very important to me. And I will continue persevering until the end. I hope to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Hello, bishop!

This Fast has been very different for me. My main focus is my mental and spiritual renewal. I have disconnected from everything. I’m not even talking to friends or neighbors about trivial issues. It’s wonderful to see what God has done for me. I’ve been a member of the UCKG for 13 years, since my wedding, but I only received the Holy Spirit during the first Fast.

When I look back, I can’t believe how much time I lost. How could I listen to the Word and seek the Holy Spirit for 13 years and not receive Him? The answer is that I never surrendered myself like I did during the first Fast. I never applied myself. I searched and prayed as if he had just arrived at the UCKG. All of my past, all of the time I had of Church was deleted. That is when I had an encounter with Jesus.

Look, bishop, it was wonderful! I was finally able to release the outcry that had been bottled up for years: “OH, WHAT A DAY!!”

Bishop, I want to tell you about my experience during the 1^st Fast of Daniel, in April 2011. A week before the big day 04/17/2011 (the last day of the Fast), my ex-boyfriend ended our 8 year relationship, which is about the same time I had attending the UCKG had at the time, and he was the one who invited me to come to the Church.

I was floored, confused. I sent an email to Bishop Romualdo and Pastor Leno. Bishop Romualdo wrote the following: “Andreia, all things work together for good to those who love God.” I didn’t understand anything at the time. Pastor Leno said: “This means victory, stay in the faith!” Again, I didn’t understand anything.

Days later, I was feeling better and went online looking for one of your, Bishop Romualdo or Bishop Guaracy’s services (I heard Bishop Guaracy’s message about the love life a few times. This message strengthened my faith very much). Three months after the Fast, I understand what Bishop Romualdo and Pastor Leno were saying in their messages, because an assistant asked me if I wanted to start praying with him.

We prayed.

We saw things similarly. Today we’re happily married. March 24, 2013 marked our 4-month anniversary. I thank God for that day. I thank the pastors and bishops who counseled us.

I would like to share my testimony in case there is someone else that is going through the same situation I went through.
