Hello, Bishop!

Over that last few days something happened to me that I have to tell you about.

I am a member of the UCKG in Vila Mariana, Sao Paulo, and on the 19th of August, during the 9:30am service, we had the launch of the new book “Nothing to Lose”. I was unable to purchase it that day, but bought it the very next day.

Since then three interesting happened to me. First, when I heard about this book an unexplainable fervency came over me. Second, I read the book in just two days. I am 28 years old and this was the first time in my life that I had read a book all the way through. Third, it was so strong, so strong that I decided to forget the years that I had been a member of the church, that I’d been using as a crutch, and start a new life… a life I had no idea existed, though I’d heard the Word innumerable times.

Bishop, now my faith protects me, and I protect my faith, we work together. Every day I start all over again, like the first love I’ve returned to the practices of wanting to conquer more and wanting more and more of the Holy Spirit. I want to obey His commands, do His will, and be the Tithe on the altar.

I thank God everyday for choosing me, and I also thank Him for the day I first set my foot inside the UCKG, almost 6 years ago.

Oh, I almost forgot, the book is spectacular!
