Body of Faith
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. […] Now you are the body of Christ and members individually.” 1 Corinthians 12.12, 27
We know that for someone to be an assistant it is necessary that they have built their life on the foundation of the Christian faith. For example: truly surrender their life to the Lord Jesus, be baptized in water, born of God, baptized with the Holy Spirit, a faithful tither, etc.
Unfortunately however, it is not always possible to find the behavior that confirms the fundamental characteristics of a converted person.
For the body to run smoothly, each organ has its function: the kidneys filter the blood to cleanse it; the lungs are responsible for breathing; the stomach digests all the food that is eaten; and so follow the other organs in perfect sync, contributing to the proper functioning of the body. However, when one of these organs gets sick, you can quickly notice the symptoms of pain, fever, swelling, etc. And when there is the presence of an unknown element in the body, the organs scream and announce that there is something strange among them, until it is expelled.
Attention, assistants and all those who say they are part of the body of the Lord Jesus!
Have you been behaving likewise, or have you been having reprehensible attitudes with those around you and your own conscience, and not contributed to the perfect functioning of the body of Jesus in this world? Are you really a part of this body? Or are you a foreign organism that has infiltrated the body of our Lord? If so, sooner or later, if you do not fix the problem, you will be naturally expelled.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of this Body, and His Son is the Head. CAUTION! This alert is for all bishops, pastors and their wives, auxiliary pastors, members and everyone that considers themselves a ‘Christian’.
God bless you.
