Blessing or curse?
Of course, no one will choose curse.
However, most people ignore that both choices come with a price.
The price of a blessing is obedience to the Word of God;
The price of a curse is disobedience to the Word of God.
There is no way around it, this is the discipline that rules the justice of God.
Whether you are a Christian or not, baptized with the Holy Spirit or not, faithful to the Church or not…
There is no escaping this rule.
Blessings come from the Throne of the Almighty;
Curses come from hell.
Those who disobey the Lord are subject to the curses of hell;
However, those who disobey the inspirations of the devil become God’s friend and therefore, worthy of His blessings.
“My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me,” Proverbs 27.11
As you can see, blessing or curse, heaven or hell, it all depends on the person’s mind.
Obedience or disobedience, this is the question.
Obedience to the Word of God is the faith He requires.
The kind of faith that pleased Him in the past and made the impossible possible;
That sacrificed mankind’s will;
That upset the desires of the heart;
That did not consider feelings;
Much less the opinion of others;
And seemed like foolishness to man’s eyes.
Abraham obeyed,
Isaac obeyed,
Jacob obeyed,
Even Jesus, though He was His Son, learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him… Hebrews 5.8-9
Not partially obedient, as many usually are.
All the heroes of faith expressed a true faith through the obedience to the Word of God.
Because of this, apostle James teaches: “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works (acts of obedience)? Can faith save him?” James 2.14
