Besides being an instrument of eternal Salvation, intelligent, rational or supernatural faith is also a tool of spiritual authority. Spiritual forces of evil have dominated people throughout the world. Social injustice, broken families, tragedies and disasters are consequences of these forces.

However, those born of the Spirit of God, though they live in this world, they are not subject to these evil forces. Unless they do not make use of the authority of the faith God has provided them. He gave Moses the staff as a tool of authority to manifest His glorious deeds. Today, He has given His people the staff of faith to overcome the “Egypt” of this world.

If this tool has not been used against evil, then that’s a whole different story! But the authority of God has already been bestowed upon His followers. Take a look at the Lord Jesus Christ’s message to His disciples:

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10.19

So, my friend, when you are truly born of God, you hold the power to neutralize ALL THE FORCES OF THE ENEMY that attack you! Faith is the power and authority of God at your disposal. Use it!
