Ask, seek, knock ...

Why ask, if you already know what I need?

Why seek, if you already know that I need to find?

Why knock, if you already know that I am at the door?

It’s true…

God is omniscient; therefore, He knows all things. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is hidden from His eyes. The past, the present and the future are like a photograph in his hands.

So why must I strive so hard, ask, seek, knock, fight, persevere, be persistent; that is, sacrifice in order to take possession of the promises Jesus Christ left for me in the Bible?

The truth is that there’s a vast desert between wanting and having. Only the brave and determined will cross it. The timid, cowardly and fearful will give up halfway.

But, how do you know who deserves to take possession and who doesn’t?

By faith.

Faith separates the light, the sheep, the strong, courageous, daring, fearless and determined; that is, those who believe and practice God’s Thoughts. As for the unbelievers, goats, cowards, weak, timid and fearful, they are buried in the desert.

Faith individually judges and decides who deserves to take possession of the Promises and who doesn’t.

Everyone has faith. The problem is that not everyone has the courage to obey His voice.

There is no other way you can reap faith’s benefits without having to use your faith.

Just like money is exchanged during a business transaction, the same happens with faith in regards to our relationship with God.

Without the practice of faith, that is, without the obedience to God’s Word it is impossible to please Him. It’s impossible to earn His favor.
