An Army that is not Intimidated

“Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, “Thus says the LORD who made it, the LORD who formed it to establish it (the LORD is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33: 1-3

Jeremiah was in prison lamenting, when God FOR A SECOND TIME – meaning that God had spoken to him before but apparently he did not react – told him: CALL ME AND I WILL ANSWER YOU and SHOW YOU GREAT THINGS!

Notice that even in time of pain, despair and hardship, God had great things to accomplish and He wanted to do so. He did not go there to lament with Jeremiah, nor did He pat him on the back – NO! He went there to shake and lift the prophet up. This is the God that the Bible reveals to us. He wants to do great things, but God expects that each person who says they believe in Him to react with the same faith and not with sentiment.

God is not the God of sentiment, pity or complaining. NO!!! He is the Almighty and does not accept that we give in to doubts, weaknesses and fears. He called us, gave us His word and His Holy Spirit to make us strong, especially in moments of hardship.

Many people, when faced with adversities, who are going through deserts and injustice, play the victim. What’s the use? Whose heart are you trying to stir? God’s? Other people’s? What does it change? NOTHING!!!

We are the UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, the people of the Most High, part of His army which is not intimidated nor accommodated, does not feel sorry for itself, does not give in to doubts. Instead, it is during difficult times like these that we get up to wage the wars of the Lord of Hosts.

God is searching for strong men and women, warriors, who will raise the banner of the living faith during these moments, in order to fight against hell and all of the problems it brings with it, instead of leaving sheets wet with emotional tears.

Those who are born of the Spirit face the problem, because in them is the Divine Seed and there is nothing or no one who can make the children of God to back down.

Whoever is part of the army of the Living God will defeat hell and everything that comes with it.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith.” 1 John 5.4

It is during the hardest moments that we see who is who!

May God bless you and make you an overflowing fountain!
