Imagem de capa - Abraham’s son, nephew or the concubine’s son?

And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac. But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east. Genesis 25.5-6

Abraham’s son always says yes to the mountain; his nephew always says no.

Abraham’s son follows the direction that comes from above and is willing to obey; his nephew follows the direction of the heart.

Abraham’s son lives by faith; his nephew lives by circumstances.

Abraham’s son conquers and establishes himself; his nephew may even conquer, but in the end, he loses everything, including his family.

Abraham’s son lives in the Secret Place of the Most High; his nephew lives in other people’s shadow.

Abraham’s son succeeds, even in the desert; his nephew fails, even in the best places.

Abraham’s son sacrifices his dreams for God; his nephew does not surrender his dreams and ends up having them turn to nightmares.

No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand against Me? Ho has preceded Me, that I should pay him? Everything under heaven is Mine. Job 41.10-11

Abraham awakened God, and He gave him everything under heaven, and, in the end, He gave him heaven as well, but Lot lost what he conquered and he also lost his family.

The nation of the children of Abraham is innumerable like the stars in heaven, while the descendants of his nephew Lot are only two nations, the Ammonites and Moabites, born of incest with his own daughters.

The children of the concubines may receive gifts (some blessings) that bring momentary joy. However, they are separate from what God promised to the children of Abraham: BE THE BLESSING!

This happens because the concubines’ children are not willing to sacrifice and cannot take possession of the inheritance.

On the other hand, the children of Abraham do not question the sacrifice, since it comes naturally to them.

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. Galatians 3.7

The children of Abraham say YES.

The nephews of Abraham say NO.

The children of the concubines are not called, because they are content with the crumbs of this world.
