Abraham's boldness

Imagem de capa - Abraham's boldness

Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. Genesis 15.1

Abraham was so revolted that he disregarded this promise from God.

Despite his many privileges, he was still extremely revolted against his humiliating situation.

He was the Lord’s blessing wherever he went;

No one dared to touch him, for the Almighty was his Shield;

Whoever blessed him was blessed;

Whoever cursed him was cursed.

Abraham was invincible, untouchable and unshakable because he depended on the Most High God.

After he prevailed over four kings, who had overcome five other kings, Abraham was afraid that his fame would spread and arouse the wrath and envy of all the people of those lands.

He had only 318 men born in his own home.

When the Lord appeared to him in a vision and encouraged him not to fear his enemies, guaranteeing him a great reward, Abraham expressed revolt against his humiliating situation of not having a son yet.

This is, he did not consider the promise of a great reward.

When a bold faith is manifested, there is nothing to lose.

This is the kind of faith that violates hell, destroys doubts and imposes will.

I believe that the boldness of Abraham’s faith pleased the Almighty God.

This is why He gave him the vision of the starry sky and promised him innumerable descendants.

This is what God does.

He is always ready…

…to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3.20
