The use of wedding bands doesn’t necessarily mean that there will be faithfulness in a marriage.

It simply means that two people are in a committed relationship with each other.

But for those who value honor, faithfulness is part of their nature.

The wedding band is so important to them that they never take it off their finger.

No matter what the circumstances may be.

In health, in sickness, for richer or for poorer…

However, this is not very common among people nowadays.

The same way that is not common for many to be faithful to God.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold,” Matthew 24.12.

If being faithful to someone that can be seen has become rare, imagine remaining faithful to Someone that cannot be seen.

Regardless of whether the relationship is between husband and wife or creation and Creator, there is something physical that represents their relationship.

The wedding bands.

Whether they are made of diamonds, gold, silver, copper or brass, it doesn’t matter.

Its significance is not in its monetary value, but in what they represent.

A covenant is an everlasting partnership with the person you love the most in the world.

Your soul mate.

It is someone who, after the Lord Jesus, comes before anyone else in this world.

They come before your parents, children and siblings; in short, they come before anyone else in the world.

This is how a husband and wife feel about their sacred covenant.

And this is how the relationship of faith should also be between the creation and the Creator.

It is impossible to be happy in this world without having the perfect marriage.

But it is also impossible to have the perfect marriage without having a true commitment with Jesus.

In a marriage, the wedding bands are a sign that there is a commitment between the couple.

Tithes and offerings are a sign of commitment between a servant and his Lord.

Tithes symbolize faithfulness;

Offerings symbolize love.

Faithfulness and love are the key ingredients in a relationship with the Lord.

Faithfulness and love are the key ingredients in the relationship between a husband and wife.

In other words, the relationship between a husband and wife exemplifies the relationship between creation and Creator.
