A killjoy

A butcher was in his shop when suddenly he saw a dog come in. He scared it away, but it wasn’t long until the little dog came back.
Again, he tried to put him outside. That was when he noticed that the animal was carrying a note in the mouth.
He took the note and read it. It said, “Can you please send me 12 sausages and a leg of lamb?” He looked, and there it was: a $50 bill in its mouth. He took the money, packed the sausages and the leg of lamb, put the change in the bag, and gave it to the dog.
The butcher was impressed and, because he was already about to close the shop, he decided to follow the animal. The dog went down the street; when he arrived at the traffic lights, he placed the bag on the ground, and then he jumped, pressed the button, and waited for the green light. He grabbed the bag again and patiently waited for the green light in order to cross the street.
The butcher and the dog were walking side by side along the pavement when the dog suddenly stopped in front of a house and placed the bag on the ground. He moved a little bit backwards, and then he ran, bumping against the front door. He did it again. Nobody answered. Then, the dog went around the house, jumped over a fence, stopped by a window, and began to bang his head against the glass repeatedly.
After doing this, he went back to the front door. Someone opened the door and began hitting the dog. The butcher ran towards that person and shouted, saying: “For God’s sake, what are you doing? Your dog is a genius!”
The dog’s owner replied, “A genius? This is the second time this week that this stupid dog left the key at home!”
Moral of the story:
You may do much more than expected, but to some people, you’ll never be good enough. Anyone can endure adversity, but if you want to test a person’s character, give him power.
If someone tells you that your work isn’t professional enough, remember: amateurs built Noah’s ark and professionals built the Titanic.
He who knows others is intelligent.
He who knows himself is enlightened.
He who overcomes others is strong.
He who overcomes himself is invincible.
A killjoy is never pleased!
