Here we see three main areas in which the devil has worked to destroy the man and woman of God.

“For three things the earth is perturbed, yes, for four it cannot bear up: for a servant when he reigns, a fool when he is filled with food, a hateful woman when she is married, and a maidservant who succeeds her mistress.” (Proverbs 30:21-23)

1 – PRIDE

“For a servant when he reigns…”

“And a maidservant who succeeds her mistress.”

Today, the devil has managed to destroy many servants through pride; those who think highly of themselves so, they do not submit to the orders of their Lord and instead leave to go and serve themselves, desiring  to be masters of their own lives, but the Lord Jesus shows us their end:

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:22-23)

2 – MONEY

“…a fool when he is filled with food…”

Many are getting lost because they stopped looking at the ALTAR and instead started looking at the GOLD. They exchanged their calling and their salvation for the bright lights of the world, but the Lord JESUS ​​rejected this gold in the desert:

“And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” (Luke 4:6-8)

3 – MARRIAGE

“… a hateful woman when she is married”

This is another area where the devil has managed to destroy many. But why?

Because many are no longer married to God. They divorced their Lord; lost their communion, their fear of the MOST HIGH and this is reflected in the destruction of the holiness in the marriage.

“For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.” (Isaiah 54.5)

May GOD have mercy on each one of us and not let us fall into temptation.
