The voice of feelings

Good morning, Bishop.

It’s true when you said that the devil becomes strong when we listen to the voice of our feelings.

When I woke up this morning, I wasn’t feeling very well. I was feeling accused because of something I should have been doing, but had not done for God in a long time. I should have reacted to a problem that had been bothering me for quite some time, but I just kept sleeping, sleeping and sleeping, feeling like I was not going to overcome, it was hopeless.

We suffer extreme pressure and feel like it is IMPOSSIBLE to change. This is because we become frustrated with the ton of mistakes we make. It’s as though we have to be perfect.

Thinking about the problem all day long won’t solve anything, especially since the answer is already in our face, but we do not have the courage, much less believe that we can succeed.

But this morning, while I was ironing, I thought about this. And that thought came into my head: “Nathalia, the devil wants you to stop fighting. He wants you to think that you can’t do it. You have to face your weaknesses.”

I immediately thought: “That’s right!”

As long as we continue feeling hopeless, feeling like we just won’t be able to do it, feeling like there’s no way out, feeling weak, we are really never going to succeed!
