The word that brings results

When a person goes to university, he learns a profession. Right?
Then he puts this knowledge into practice and becomes prosperous. Isn’t that right?
But what are professionals given at a university? Teaching… what else? Instruction, training, etc…
What does it all come down to? A word… a word.
Who has a university degree?
OK. A professor gave you an academic background. What did your professor give you? A word… a word.
You put this word into practice and became a professional. Am I right?
Anyone disagree with that? No.
Well, the Help Centre exists to give you this word. When you put the word into practice, it brings results from the Word of God.
Now, think with me. The words of a university professor create professionals. Doctors, dentists, lawyers, engineers who build bridges, construct buildings, aircraft… Isn’t that right? Computers… Do you agree?
Now, imagine the information that comes from the Spirit of God… when the Spirit of God instructs us.
If a university professor can create an engineer that makes an airplane, or a rocket that travels to the moon, imagine the Master of creation imparting information. What can He empower a person to accomplish? There are no limits.
That is what God revealed to Abraham.
The Word of God creates lives… new lives.
A professor forms professionals, not lives. But the Word of God forms new lives, new men and women.
Jesus was passing by and a blind insisted: “Lord, have mercy on me”. Suddenly Jesus asked the blind man: “What do you want me to do for you?”
Jesus asked the blind man: “What do you want me to do for you?”
The blind man could have answered: “Lord, I’m the one who’s blind, not You. You can see I’m blind.”
That’s what it seemed like, but that’s not what happened.
What happened is that when Jesus asked the blind man: “What do you want me to do for you?”, Jesus was examining, evaluating, analyzing the faith of the blind man. Why is that? The blind man could have asked for a job… the blind man could have asked for money… he could have asked for anything. But no. The blind man asked for the impossible: “I want to see”.
Do you get it?
When he spoke, he defined his level of faith in Jesus.
In other words, what do you want from Jesus? …what do you want from God? What is your greatest need? I know we all have lots of problems, lots of needs: financial problems, family problems, health problems… children with addictions, divorced parents, a husband who’s leaving, a wife who’s leaving for another man. But what’s most important?
You may be your biggest problem. You. A problem inside of you.
At home you’re always sad, annoyed, depressed. You have panic attacks and are a sad person whenever you’re at home with your family. When you’re at a party, things are no different, you’re still sad, you’re still depressed and negative.
Make-up doesn’t change the look on your face. The most beautiful clothes have no effect because you’re always sad and depressed. And so, your biggest problem is not your family, your children, your parents, your husband or your health. No. Your biggest problem is you.
You have to ask what your priority in life is. What is most important in life? What is most important in a person’s life? What is most important in your life?
“Bishop, the most important thing in my life is my son, my daughter, my father, my mother”. No. The most important thing in your life is you. Your own life.
If you have no life, you have no father, no mother, no kids, you have no one, nothing. Right or wrong? Do you agree?
