The Lord Jesus performed numerous miracles, and many were not recorded. However, those in the Bible are the miracles that transmit more than the event itself. They benefit us today with magnificent messages that apply to our lives today. For example, the first miracle He performed was transforming water into wine. He was invited to be at a wedding party. So, the wine was over, and the hosts were ashamed not to attend to the guests.

The past can’t be changed, but many people feel the “wine” is over. They think the fuel level is getting to the reserve without a gas station and money to fill up. The person looks at the marriage and says: “This here has no future, and it will end in separation.” They look at the medical prognosis and know there is no cure; it will only worsen. Some people hear in their heads for various reasons: “It’s over for you”. The first miracle of the Lord Jesus shows the opposite: when no one had anything to do, He asked for six waterpots and did the miracle. Mary, who was at the party, said: “Whatever He says to you, do it.” So, he turned that water into not just any but the best wine.

The Lord Jesus changed the reputation of that family. It was a family that was about to be socially ashamed. But the Lord Jesus did the miracle. That’s the message God gives you. You don’t have to end the party in shame. To end your life in failure.

Your marriage, health, spiritual condition, and future do not need to end like this. If you are ashamed, if there is no forecast of improvement and what you hear in your head is that it’s over for you, make a decision now.

Come to Him and say, “Lord Jesus, what should I do? Not only about this situation but about my whole life. So far, I did what I thought was best, what came into my head and heart, and I just got broken. But now, I will do only what the Lord says.” He will guide you, but you need ears to listen and the courage to obey.

If you do this, what was supposed to be your shame will be your most significant honour. He can still turn your water into the best wine today.
