GO TO ANY CHURCH!

I am 38 years old and have been a member of the Universal Church for 20 years.

During my teen years, I was depressed, full of problems, had sleepless nights, saw shadows, heard voices and smelt the odor of cigars all night long. My mother was already going to Church, and during one of these troubled nights, I turned on the radio and listened to the pastor preach.

The demons immediately manifested stronger.

The cigar smell got stronger and I “heard” them shouting: “Go to any other church, except the Universal Church! Go to the Baptist church… They’re nice. They don’t have all that stuff about expelling evil spirits; remember you’re afraid of that. They have music and youth group…”

That is when I used my intelligent faith!

Why not the Universal Church?

I told myself: Okay, I found the place where I’ll find the solution to all of my problems. And that’s what happened. I just didn’t expect the solution to be as great as it was!

I have no words to express what Jesus has done in my life through the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. Deliverance, family, finances and, above all, my salvation!

For 20 years the devil has been receiving fire from me!

That’s tied up!

Before coming to the Universal Church, I was suffering terrible horrors. All of my coworkers, were from various denominations, and knew of my struggle, yet the only person who helped me was form the Universal Church.

Things began to get better.

All of a sudden, my family and coworkers, from other evangelical denominations, started asking me why I went to the Universal Church and not the Assembly of God or the Baptist church. I replied, “because they were the only ones that accepted me and helped me. The other ones just stood there looking at me suffer.”

After I was delivered and learned how to use my faith, the devil wants to take me to other churches to bring me down? He’s tied up!

I thank God.

I thank you for helping me.

And I also want to thank Lucicassia, from Caixa Dágua – PE (Brazil), who took care of me, and pastor Roberto de Jesus, who taught me a lot. Until this day I remember his words.

MY LIFE WAS A LIVING HELL

Worldly people are so spiritually blind… They say that they do not see the wonders, miracles and transformations that happen in the lives of those who come to the Universal Church.

Their minds have been seared by the devil. It is very sad! I thank God for finding the Universal Church.

My life was completely destroyed. I was addicted to alcohol and casino games, I cheated on my partner and was promiscuous! My life was a living hell. I constantly had night terrors (demons had intercourse with me). I hated my parents. But I was transformed. Today I am a new person. Above all, I have peace.

I thank God every day for the Universal Church, especially for having a Church here in the city where I live, in the United States because this is where I had an encounter with the Lord Jesus.

I USED MY INTELLIGENCE

As soon as I started going to the Universal Church, many of my coworkers said: “Get out of there! Look for another church, any church, except the Universal Church!”

I said, “That’s funny, the Universal Church is the only one that’s no good, well, that’s exactly where I’m staying and I’m going to be successful! You will see the glory of God in my life.”

My husband told me to choose between him and the Church. I told him that I chose the Lord Jesus.

If I told you everything that happened, I would be typing for hours. All I know is that it was not easy. I guarantee that most people, in my situation, would have given up.

I remember when my husband’s niece, who was an assistant, received a phone call from her aunt, who was a drug user, saying: “You’re going to lose that uniform…”, mocking her.

And she also said, “Go to the World Church, it’s better there.”

I thought: A troubled, drug addict, saying to leave the Universal Church and go to the World church. Something was definitely wrong there.

The devil is smart, be careful!

He knew that if she stayed in the Universal Church, she would have succeeded. Unfortunately, she fell away from the faith.

I believe that God will restore her life.

I SEARCHED AND SEARCHED…

I visited so many churches, but I always left the same, the same person: the same Cleide. The one who smoked, drank, slept around with married men. But, thank God, one day, with a huge desire to be delivered, I went to the Universal Church – THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD – in 2011.

Today, it makes 2 years, and I feel completely set free, thank God that I came to the Universal Church. I praise and thank God for its existence, bishop.

PERSONA NON GRATA

Like everything else that you speak about, Bishop, this is another truth – here and in all of the other Universal Cenacles.

I was born Catholic, and was a follower of Umbanda and Candomblé (in Salvador – Bahia and Rio de Janeiro – Brazil). Though I was a doctor, I drank and smoked. Besides that, I was also a lousy son, brother, husband, and father-in-law and often, an instigator of confusion.

However, to many, a ‘nice person’.

The day I accepted the Lord Jesus, and especially when I began to serve Him at the Universal Church, I became a ‘persona non grata’ and ‘Bishop Macedo’s follower’.

Today, I thank God for that.

WOOHOO!!!…

 

I was also rejected by friends. But worst of all, the one I will never forget was my father, who said: “Why are you going to that Church? Choose another one. Go have fun, go to parties, you are young, beautiful…”

He said this with a lot of frustration and spoke in an angry tone of voice: “I would rather see you as a prostitute than in that Church!”

I have remained firm until today. In the faith, I look towards my target, my Salvation. It has now been18 years. I made the right choice.

ENVY

It wasn’t any different with me.

My husband has even said: “If you go to that Church, when you come back home, you won’t find me here any longer.”

I said goodbye to him and left. When I came back, he was still there.

Today, he comes with me to Church, and our marriage, which was about to turn into a divorce, is restored. I would even go as far as to say that today, we are more in love than when we got married.

I never paid any mind to my husband’s threats. I believe that the Universal Church is so persecuted because it causes envy in the other “pastors” from other denominations. They lack the courage to speak the truth, like you do, because they are afraid of losing their followers.

It’s like the chief priests, who driven by envy when they crucified the Lord Jesus.

Pure envy!

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God.
