Have you ever been through a situation of being alone in an unknown place? Whether in a neighbourhood, city or country, the unknown always scares, bringing fear and insecurity.

A clear example is when the child goes to school for the first time. The first day of school is always more complicated because they leave the family environment, where everything is safe, to enter an unknown environment. Soon, the child starts crying and doesn’t want to leave their mother’s arms.

Now, imagine living in this dark and unjust world without God.

The Word of God says:

“That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.” Ephesians 2.12

These people lived spiritually lonely precisely because they lived without God in this world. And you, how have you been living?
