WHY DOES NATURE ATTRACT US?

What the sky, the sea and the mountains reveal about our inner search.

Have you ever noticed how nature attracts us? It is no coincidence that the most photographed images in the world are the sun, the sea, the mountains and the starry sky. In addition, when we are stressed or confused, we instinctively look for a park, a beach or simply the horizon.

Something in nature calls us.

The heavens speak, even in silence

The Bible explains this clearly: “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalms 19:1). Creation communicates, albeit without words. That’s why, when we seek hope, we look up. It’s as if our interior knew where help came from.

Even those who say they don’t believe in God feel this attraction. You may not recognise the Creator, but you can’t ignore the impact of creation.

Order reveals a Creator

The universe works under perfect laws. Sun, moon, stars and seasons obey a precise order. And every law points to a legislator. Human beings didn’t create these laws – they just discovered them.

Therefore, Paul states that the power and divinity of God are clearly seen in the things created. The evidence is in front of everyone.

The true resistance

The problem is not a lack of evidence, but of disposition. Recognising God implies obeying Him. And many prefer to deny His existence so they don’t have to change their lives.

Still, creation continues to speak.

A thirst that nature does not quench

If you are someone who loves connecting with nature, know that within you is a need to know the Creator of all this.

And He wants to reign in your life and give you this peace and tranquillity constantly.
