An old Jewish legend says that one day Satan sat with his subordinates to elaborate a way to destroy the meaning of life in people’s minds.

— “Tell them God doesn’t exist,” suggested one demon.

— “Make them believe there’s no consequence to their actions,” said another.

Then a third proposed:

— “Tell them they strayed too far from the right path and that they won’t be able to go back, because people don’t change.”

— “No,” said Satan. “This is what I’m going to do. I’m simply going to make them believe there’s plenty of time left.”

Have you heard that voice before? “There’s plenty of time.” “I know I have to change, but not now.” “Later on I’ll do something about it, first let me enjoy life.”

There’s no better time than the present to do what is right.

The future is never here. Any progress can only happen in the present. Now is the only time when every and any progress can be made.

The majority of those who are now in their grave would have liked more time. But everyone, without any exceptions, wastes their time with futile things.

The one thing in your life that you will never have too much of, is time.

Use it wisely. Now. One day it will end.
