Who are you to judge another’s servant?

Imagem de capa - Who are you to judge another’s servant?

How is it possible that one who has the Holy Spirit and has received an anointing from God to save others can be so callous, intolerant, cruel and merciless? Maybe you say, “No, that isn’t possible!” But I tell you that it is.

This is exactly what you become when you judge someone. Regardless of whether the person is in the wrong or not.

If you judge someone, it is because you understand nothing about the nature of God or Who He is at all! If you did have this understanding, you wouldn’t point your finger at anyone. After all, God Himself never does this. The devil is the accuser; that’s his role! It always has been, and it always will be. Unfortunately, many Christians are taking on this role for themselves… and even being proud of it!

If only you knew how appalling God finds this; it’s even worse than the sin of the person you are judging!

How many people crossed paths with us one day and instead of lending them a hand, we pushed them over the cliff with our words and attitudes? Perhaps you say, “I’ve never done this! I’ve never condemned or pointed the finger at anyone!” This may be true. You’ve not done anything to wrong or hurt anyone, but you’ve done nothing to help them either! This ends up having the same result, for just as doing evil is a sin, failing to do good is also a sin!

“Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

James 4.17

Here’s something to meditate on:

“Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.”

Romans 14:4

“But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”

Romans 14:10
