WHEN YOU SEE A CIRCLE, PAY ATTENTION TO THIS

He who speaks plants; he who hears reaps. So, choose your friends very carefully.

Studies show that we are the same average as the friends we associate with. That is, if you add up the values and goals of friends and make an average, you will be very close to who you are.

This already reveals a pearl of ancient wisdom. The Word of God teaches us that: “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scornful” (Psalm 1:1). It also says, “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites” (Psalm 26:4).

A wise person chooses their friends well. You say you’re not influenced by friends, that’s naive. Just observe: when you find a circle of friends, realise that there is always the one who influences the others. Generally, this person is more outspoken and others listen to him. He who hears reaps and he who speaks plants. So, the person who is speaking is planting an idea in the minds of others.

These days, we receive people’s voices through chatting apps, through television. God’s Word says you have to choose carefully whom you associate with. You need to be careful. These harmful people can be in your family, in your school or work group. Words dominate. They generate thoughts and emotions. When a word enters your head, it will do something to you. The Word has the power to be sown for years and it sprouts at the right time.

So we have to be police officers of our eyes and ears. Maybe you haven’t advanced in life and still haven’t realised that those who don’t let you run are the friends you have. So watch your friendships (if you want to move forward in your life). Check out the full message in the video above.
