Sometimes you won’t get what you want by force: being stubborn, imposing  your will on others, demanding respect, making a scene when they don’t do what you want… 

There are moments, yes, when the use of force and authority, for those who have it, is the only option. But before getting to that point, there’s always diplomacy, a request with a smile, patience, self-control, a servant’s spirit toward others before wanting to be served, gentleness, and many other influential weapons. The one who taught this (the teacher) was the One and Only Lord Jesus, who until today conquers millions, leading them to surrender their lives to Him, without ever having to shed someone’s blood – only His own.

Many times the strong appear weak — but only they know who they really are, and why they do what they do.
