What attracts and repels you
Notice this about yourself in the next few days: Hard, challenging things repel you; easy, comfortable things attract you.
It's easier to do what you've always done, to engage the auto-pilot, than to try new things.
It's more comfortable gazing at your Facebook or tweeting some inane detail about your life than doing hard work that will inspire you and others.
It's easier to spend than to create wealth.
You catch my drift.
Human inclination, like water, is to always follow the easiest course. That's what you'll do, if you just let yourself be. And your accomplishments will be minimal.
But if you start noticing what repels you — that nagging feeling telling you you ought to be doing something harder and more productive — and using it as a signal to actually do it, you will see better results almost immediately.
Do it right now. Write down just one thing you know you ought to be doing but for some reason you've been avoiding it. Then go and get started on it right away. Yes, right now! No excuses.
When you're done, you may come back here and post your experience.
I won't tell you again. You still there?
