THERE'S NO CREDIT FOR THAT... AND THE DEBT ERASED TO START OVER!
I have a question: what will you do with your "today"?
There is a mistaken belief regarding having a relationship with God: “if I have been building a correct life before God for a long time, then I have credit to sin”. On the other hand, some have been making mistakes for a long time and think there is no more way to fix themselves (it’s as if all this time they were never given a chance to change). So, they sink because they believe they are a lost case.
Then, slowly, read Ezekiel 18. The general spirit of this chapter is what I’m telling you. God says: “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die” (Ezekiel 18:24).
In other words, God is a God of the “present”. Your past served at that past moment. God looks at the present moment. If you have lived correctly with Him for many years, but decide to do something wrong, trusting in your years of righteousness, know that nothing you have done will count. In the same way, for those who have lived years in sin, God has no memory of their past. He erases all your past the moment you turn to Him.
You must continue to do the right thing; otherwise, you will ruin everything you have invested in. And if you have lived wrong to this day, turn to God now. He will erase, forgive and give you a chance. What are you going to do with yours today? Check out the video above.
