THE SOUL WITHIN YOUR BODY

Faith is looking inside and seeing what has eternal value.

I want you to pay attention to what I’m going to deal with here, because it concerns your soul – what you really are.

You are not a body

You are not a body, you are a soul. And the soul is eternal. It never ceases to exist, but it can die in the most terrible sense: to be separated from God.

While we are in this world, we still have contact with Him, because His Spirit is here. But the Word teaches that there will be a moment – the rapture – when the Church will be taken, and the Spirit of God will also be taken from this earth.

If you think the world is difficult now, you can’t imagine what will happen when the Holy Spirit is no longer here. Today, there are still those who believe, obey and live the Word – and are light and salt, balancing good and evil. But when they are taken away, the earth literally “will catch fire”, as the Lord Jesus Himself said.

The second death

The first death separates the soul from the body, but the second separates the soul from God. And, honestly, you don’t want that. Maybe today you worry about bills and deadlines, but when you leave this body, none of this will matter. What counts is the term of your soul – and it is definitive.

It was for your soul that Jesus came. In Gethsemane, He said: “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death.” (Matthew 26:38) It was not fear of the physical pain of the cross, because many disciples died in such or more painful ways. The sadness was from the “cup” that He would drink: the punishment for our sins.

Think about the guilt of a single mistake you’ve ever made. That bad conscience. Now imagine Jesus carrying all the sins of all people. The weight was so great that He sweated blood.

The price He paid for you

He only endured because He prayed, sought the Father and said: “Your will be done. “He defeated Himself and won everything for you. But for what? For you to live indifferent to this? To remember once a year and not eat beef on Good Friday?

And in the face of such a great sacrifice, the question remains:
What have you given to Him in return for what He has already done for you?

What to do now

If He gave His soul for yours, give yours to Him. Say:

“Since the Lord bought my soul and paid the highest price, I give it back to You, and I want to live with You for all eternity. ”

Stop and think. While so many run after things that pass, look inside. The destination of your soul is what really matters.

Watch carefully, reflect and share to help more people.
