THE POINT WHERE ALL WAS GOING WELL

Have you ever experienced the situation of getting lost on the way? But, you don't have to stay lost, just change the route and follow the right path

Surely, you’ve already lost yourself somewhere you’ve travelled. At some point, you took a wrong turn and got lost. You noticed and then you said, “I don’t know this area. I think we’re on the wrong track.” What do you do when you get lost? We made our way back to the last point where we were sure we were on the right track.

In life, this reasoning also applies. There are times when we make the wrong choices (thinking it was the right thing to do) and then we realise that we made a mistake, and we find out that we are far from where we wanted to be.

So come back to the correct point. Maybe, you think, “It’s already too late. I’ve sunk too deep.” But if we think about it like this, on a trip, we would end up in the wrong place we turned and never leave. It’s not like this! If you’ve gone the wrong way, you have to come back as soon as possible. The moment you realise it, you turn around. However, pride makes the person not recognise that they made a mistake.

In the Bible, we see that the Lord Jesus went through a heated debate with the Jews. However, what did He do when He saw Himself under threat of being arrested (before the time when this should have happened)? He withdrew and went to the place where He began His ministry. The Lord Jesus did not fail. In everything He did in life, He was aware of what He had to do. But, He needed to get away from the heat of the problem right then. As it is written:

“Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand. And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed” (John 10:39-40). So if God Himself did this, here’s the advice!

If you did or went through something bad in your marriage, turn back. Tell the person: “I know I made a mistake, but I want to go back to where I was in the beginning”. If you have strayed away from the faith, come back. This longing you have for the things of God is the desire to return to the practice of the first works. Go back to the point where you were sure of what you were doing. God gives you that opportunity. If you seize it, you will change your life today. Meditate on this message in the video above.
