THE MASTER OF DIVISION

The devil has no family, so his goal is to divide – first within the home and then throughout society. Meanwhile, God promotes unity, calling us to be one spirit with Him.

The Bible shows us that God has a family. In Ephesians 2:19, we are introduced to the family of God. The apostle Paul explains how, through the cross, Jesus reconciled enemies, destroyed separation walls and united everyone as brothers under the same Father.

The enemy’s tactic:

God has a family, but the devil doesn’t. Evil knows that the family is a reflection of the Kingdom of Heaven and, therefore, works tirelessly to destroy it. The world trivialises marriage and normalises divisions, taking conflicts from within the house to society. The devil sows discord and segments people into groups, creating enmities. His goal is to divide everything: families, companies, churches and nations. He is the master of division.

When Lucifer was expelled from Heaven, he took with him a third of the angels (Revelation 12:4). He divided Heaven and now seeks to divide the Earth. Maybe, without realising it, you are playing his game, allowing marriage, family and work divisions. How many couples today live far away, even under the same roof? How many children are divided between father and mother? Society romanticises divorce, treating separation as something natural.

Division in work and society:

In the workplace, many come together to criticise the company, the boss or colleagues without realising that they are sowing chaos in the place that sustains them. However, those who want to improve something work for the unit, not against it.

God, on the other hand, is unity. In John 17:21, Jesus prayed to the Father that everyone would be one, just as He and the Father are one. The choice is yours: are you on the division or unity team?

Our position in the Family of God:

Ephesians 2:18-19 reinforces: “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”

So, when we believe in Jesus and give our lives to Him, we are accepted as children of God. Jesus made this clear by calling the disciples “brothers” after the resurrection (John 20:17). He said: “I go up to my Father and your Father,” including us in His family.

The true meaning of the family:

In Matthew 12:46-50, when they informed that His mother and brothers were waiting for him, He replied: “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” And pointing to those who listened to him, he said: “My mother and my brothers are those who listen and practice my Word”. This shows that being part of God’s family depends not on blood ties but on faith and obedience.

In addition, in God’s family, it doesn’t matter who is right, but what the Father determines. When we follow this direction, conflicts in marriage, family, church, and society are resolved.

Are you already part of God’s Family?

What a privilege to be part of God’s family! What about you? Are you already part of it? If so, rejoice and help others to join. If not, know that God is still accepting new members. The price? Your faith and total surrender to the Lord Jesus.
