THE GRATITUDE CHALLENGE 1-2-3: Do it today! (the third one is unexpected)

Scientists discovered something already written in the Bible long ago about the benefits of being grateful.

I have a challenge for you: The gratitude challenge. Please pay attention, because it’s not impossible, but it’s not that easy either. You’ll have to put in a little effort. Why gratitude? Studies have already been done worldwide, showing that grateful people are the happiest. In fact, we do not need scientific studies to tell us this because the Word of God already teaches us that in everything, give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18). But the truth is that when you learn to be more grateful, your life improves in many ways. I’ll give you 3 things to be grateful for. There are 3 challenges you can do today.

1)You will identify a person that you are grateful for in life.

I am sure that in your social circle, you can find more than one person. Still, you will identify at least one person to express yourself verbally or by giving a treat, giving a gift, or doing a favour. You’ll express what you don’t normally do. But you can’t choose someone you already do that with. You will identify a person, thinking about how your life would be without this person is one of the ways for you to identify their importance. You could make a call or give them a hug. Do it today!

2)A benefit for which you are grateful.

Things you have in your life that sometimes you don’t realise how blessed you are. For example, we don’t think about waking up and washing our faces with clean water. This is so common, but millions don’t have it, and they have to get water somewhere with a dirty can. On the night the Lord Jesus was arrested, He knew what He would go through. Still, He raised the bread and the wine and thanked the Father for the elements, for the last moment with the disciples and for being close to concluding the mission He came to do on earth. What do you take as normal that you can be thankful for? Sometimes you complain so much about your job, but you have it (and how many are looking for a job?). You will thank God, and you will recognise that.

3)You will identify a problem for which you are grateful.

This one is not that easy. A problem, you say: it has a good side. Usually, we only see this after the problem is solved, sometime later. But thank God for these problems. Because of my marriage problems, how many couples have been helped in Love Therapy? Ultimately, all things cooperate for the good of those who love God. So, think of a situation where you usually murmur and say, “When will this end?” But you will identify something good that this problem has brought to you, and you will take advantage of it by using this problem to your advantage.

These are today’s challenges. Can you do it? If you accept, get to work. Take action. Also, reflect on the topic through the video above.
