THE FULL CUP TEST: Will you pass?

Check out the message in the video below.

I clearly remember the competitions at school: the bag race, the egg on the spoon, and, especially, that test of walking with a cup full of water without it spilling. It wasn’t easy to keep the balanced. However, this memory reminds us that, in life, we can experience something similar. Therefore, the “full cup test” refers to situations in which it is necessary to control anger and manage emotions before they overflow and cause harm.

Just as it is almost impossible to take a step with a full glass to the edge without spilling, it is also challenging to contain anger when your limits are tested. In this way, it becomes clear that if you do not act, it will compromise your relationships, your career, and even your spiritual life.

What to learn from the Word of God

The Bible does not say that the righteous will never get angry. It teaches that it is wise to “slow to wrath” (Proverbs 14:29). God will also be angry, but His anger is just and controlled. It is worth noting that when you are angry, the glass fills up and overflows, potentially causing damage. In addition, Solomon said that those who control themselves are stronger than those who conquer a city.

Therefore, the problem is not in feeling anger, but in allowing anger to accumulate and explode.

How to empty the cup before it overflows

It is necessary to recognise the signs that the “cup” is filling. So, stop for a while, breathe, postpone an answer or get away from the situation. In addition, prayer has become a powerful resource: pour out anger, anxiety and fear before God, and leave this moment with a lighter heart.

Then, with the empty “cup”, use the reason to decide how to solve the problem. This does not mean ignoring the situation, but facing it with balance, avoiding giving “space to the devil”, as the Bible warns.

Preserve your relationships and yourself

When you practice “emptying the cup” regularly, you not only preserve your relationships but also your mental, emotional, and spiritual health. In this way, you will maintain your faith and act wisely, becoming stronger in the face of challenges.

In this video, find out how to pass the full cup test: control your anger, maintain balance and not lose everything for an explosion that could be avoided.
