• 1st: The Death of Jesus on the Cross – The Crucifixion

If you believe in the Lord Jesus and what He did on the cross for you, His death becomes payment for your sins and failures. And by faith in Him, the punishment you should suffer, the eternal condemnation you should suffer, has already fallen on Him. And you then become free.

• 2nd: The Resurrection of Jesus

Jesus did not die for His own sins but for others. But He couldn’t stay in the grave because He had no (sin) of Himself. That’s why Jesus was resurrected, conquered death, and found innocent. And the resurrection proved that He is Lord God because He was the only one who managed to live as a man and fulfil the Word of God, the law of God, thus giving us the way to Salvation.

• 3rd: The Day of Pentecost

Why is this event so important to us? It is proof that Jesus is alive within us—He lives in us today. I not only know that He died on the cross and was resurrected in some distant past, but I also know He is alive because He lives in me.
