Recently, someone said: “Look, for me, it’s enough”. And explained the reason for giving up a project. It was something he had been doing for a long time and it didn’t turn out the way he expected. We have to put aside some projects to look for something bigger and better. But, there are certain things in life that we cannot give up on.

You can’t give up on yourself, for example. You can’t give up doing good, doing right. When we look at the world where people live practising evil and injustice and seem to succeed for a while and those who do good are always despised and left aside, the desire to give up doing good is very strong. I believe that anyone who does good, amid a world that does evil, has already asked themselves: “What’s the point?” But, the Bible gives us a spoiler of how it all ends.

Understand that there is no life without problems. Even on a paradise island, far from everything and everyone. I guarantee you that in two days you will be bored. Because life is made of struggles. You can live your life straight, but you’re still in a crooked world. People are crooked, they live a crooked life and they torture those who want to live a straight life.

So you need to persevere until the end, fighting the good fight. Just don’t give up, and you will win. Resist the devil. This characteristic of perseverance, of taking a deep breath and regaining strength, is essential. You move on.

The Bible says: “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have might He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:28-29).

So, if you want strength, you must seek the source of strength, God. Do you know when you feel like throwing everything away? Even if the urge comes, don’t do it. Renew yourself in Him so that strength comes. And in the end, we win, the victory is ours and there’s nothing evil can do about it. Because our Judge is incorruptible. You cannot bribe him or buy him out. He has already determined how the ending will be. All we need to do is fit ourselves in His Word. If we are under His Word, in the end, we win.
