Despite all the scientific advancement and various attempts to find the fountain of youth, time continues to be one of the main human recycling agents. The old die then the young take their place until they too get old. How depressing for those who only focus on this life.

However, the worst aging is not the one where you get wrinkles. There are a lot of people with baby skin whose brain operates like it’s on Windows 95. Here is a quick list on how to upgrade and remain updated, regardless of age:

• Be open to new ideas. When you think that there is nothing better than what you know, you’re officially old.
• If you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse. Nothing remains stagnant. Everything changes, for the better or worst. Decide to change for the better.
• Allow yourself to be childlike once in a while. Even Jesus said this is the condition to get into heaven.
• Stop complaining about life. If you’re not going to do something to fix what’s broken, at least don’t be an old crank.
• Associate yourself with those who think big. Thinking small is to the brain like staying in bed is to the legs.
• Investigate God’s mind. That was Einstein’s dream. God doesn’t get old. Jesus died and resurrected at 33 – the age where youth meets maturity, the best of both worlds.
