SECRETS OF PSALM 17 FOR YOUR PRAYER

Check out the message in the video below.

Do you know Psalm 17? It reveals some secrets about prayer, something indispensable for those who want to maintain an open and direct channel with God.

God wants to hear your voice.

Just as a father and a mother expect their own child to talk to them (even if it’s just by proximity and trust, and thus bring their needs to them), God also wants to hear you directly.

Therefore, instead of outsourcing prayer or relying solely on intercessors, you should present your needs in person.

In verse 6 of Psalm 17, David states: “I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God” See what a wonderful thing: David called upon God, not because he thought he deserved something, but because he was aware that God wanted to hear him.

Even without deserving it…

I ask you: who in this world wants to listen to you (like God) when you are in trouble?

Certainly, there are not many people, because sometimes even the closest get tired of us, as no one can stand listening to our ‘litanies’ all the time.

But with God, it’s not like that. He not only stands with us but also wants to hear our needs and petitions, because this shows that we trust Him and turn to Him—and no one else—to help us.

Therefore, when God speaks in His Word that He wants to listen to you, think just a little: when you pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, no matter how sinful you are, the Father listens, not by your merit, but by His merit.

However, you must believe, and then He will answer you.
