When the Lord Jesus gave the mission to His 12 disciples to go to the villages, the cities, to all the people they could find, He gave some points that they had to focus on. Including healing the sick and casting out unclean spirits. It is worth noting that the Lord Jesus would not have said this if, possession by unclean spirits were not a serious problem in the lives of human beings.

But he also told the disciples to preach so that people would repent. That is, to cease from their wrong behaviours. And they turn to righteousness, turn to what is right, what God determines in His Word, which is the best way.

Because it would be useless to receive healing, miracles and blessings whilst a bigger problem (sin) was in their lives.

Sin is the same as missing the destination. For example, if you put the wrong address on your GPS, you will end up going to the wrong place. In a spiritual sense, this is exactly what sin means. Sin will take you to a place you don’t want to go.
