NOBODY UNITES LIKE THE CROSS
Do you feel distant from God? In this video, discover how the cross can transform your life and restore your communion with Him.
Do you really understand what happened on the cross? This event transcends time and remains the greatest demonstration of love and redemption in history. The cross is not only a symbol but the central point of the Christian faith.
The Meaning of the Cross:
The apostle Paul declared that “the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing” (1 Corinthians 1:18). Many hear about Jesus’ death, but few understand its true meaning. As we approach Holy Week and Good Friday, we need to reflect on the essence of this event.
Unfortunately, the true meaning of the cross is often overshadowed by commercial elements, such as chocolate eggs and Easter bunnies. However, the cross is much more than a holiday: it is the bridge that reconciles us with God.
The Cross brings us closer to God:
Ephesians 2:13-16 explains that Christ’s death brought close those far from God. Sin separates us from the Creator, generating guilt, fear and detachment. Like Adam and Eve in Eden, we often try to hide from Him. But the cross destroys this wall.
Christ not only reconciled us individually but also undid historical divisions. He united Jews and Gentiles, rich and poor, rival nations and previously enemy groups. Therefore, the cross is the point of unity for humanity.
The power of unity of the cross:
The cross is the answer in a world divided by ideologies, ethnicities and conflicts. Recently, in Tel Aviv, I witnessed Jews and Arabs gathered in praise, even in the midst of the war. This is the power of the cross: to unite those the world separates.
This unity also happens within families. Many homes suffer from fights and separations, but the differences disappear when everyone surrenders to the cross. As Ephesians 2:19 states, “You are members of God’s household.”
The cross is an invitation to peace, union, and restoration. Have you already surrendered to this call? What Jesus did on the cross can transform your family, your community, and the world. Accept this truth and experience the fullness of life in Christ.
