If you have received words of defeat, a bad diagnosis or feel depression dominate your soul, know that you can reject it. Faith shows that there is a solution, even when everything seems lost.

The story of the woman with a flow of blood

In Luke 8:43, we read about a woman who had been suffering from a flow of blood for 12 years. She spent everything on doctors, but she was still sick. In addition to physical pain, she faced social and religious exclusion and was considered “unclean”.

When she heard about Jesus, she understood that she could not approach Him openly, because the law forbade a Rabbi to touch someone “impure”. Even so, she risked everything.

The touch of faith that changed everything

The woman infiltrated the crowd and touched the edge of Jesus’ garments. At the time, the bleeding stopped. Then Jesus realised and asked, “Who touched me?”

It was not an ordinary touch, but a touch of faith, capable of drawing power from Him.

In the same way, when you pray and believe, your faith connects to the power of God and changes your situation.

Reject the word “no solution”

This woman heard for 12 years that there was no cure. But when she met Jesus, she decided within herself: “If I just touch Him, I will be healed.”

You also need to reject the “no solution”.

Depression has a cure. Diseases have a cure. Debt has a way out. God is the doctor of doctors.

The solution starts when you believe.

The words of Jesus for those who suffer

Jesus said to the woman:

1.”Be of good cheer.”

He returned strength to the emotionally exhausted one. And He tells you this today: have courage to work, organise your home, resume your life. God gives you that strength now.

2.”Daughter.”

He stated that she was not alone.

You also have a Father who sees you, welcomes you and accompanies you, even when everyone abandons you.

3.”Your faith has made you well.”

It was that woman’s faith that broke barriers, overcame fear and broke protocols. Therefore, your faith also frees you from paralysis and leads you straight to Jesus.

4.”Go in peace.”

Jesus gave her a new life: physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Faith that transforms impossible situations

Faith moves you when they say you can’t or don’t deserve it. It makes you leave fear, face the impossible and go to Jesus.

Wherever you are, at work, at home or in any situation, walk with God, think of God, seek God’s direction.

Just as there was a cure for that woman, there is a cure and a solution for you too.
