MAN WON 7 MILLION IN THE LOTTERY AND ALMOST DIES CELEBRATING

This shocking news reveals a common problem facing humanity: when a person lacks structure, even what was supposed to be a blessing can turn into ruin.

Recently, I read a news that made me reflect deeply. A 39-year-old man named Adam Lopes won the equivalent of seven million reais in the lottery. Before that, he had only eighty-five reais in his wallet and worked as a forklift operator.

As soon as he received the award, he made a hasty decision: he quit his job and started partying nonstop. For three months, he lived on excesses – parties, drink, food, everything without limits. However, his body couldn’t stand it. Adam was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with double pulmonary embolism. He almost lost his life.

Soon after surviving, he confessed: “I lost the structure of my life.” But, in fact, he didn’t lose – he never had. And that’s precisely where the lesson lies.

The danger of receiving something ahead of time

This story shows a spiritual truth that many ignore. The Bible had already warned: “An inheritance gained hastily at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.”(Proverbs 20:21)

In other words, what arrives before the right time can become a curse. When a person receives something without preparation, they don’t know how to manage it. So, what would be a blessing ends up turning against them.

Anything you rush into in your life, skipping the necessary steps of sacrifice to build a solid foundation, will be something you’ll see come crashing down on you.

A structure is built, not received

That’s why I say: structure is not earned, it is built. It comes from effort, discipline, constancy and faith. And that’s exactly what many don’t want. They want the result, but they reject the process. They want success, but they don’t want sacrifice.

I see this happening in the same way in several areas. The person meets someone and wants to get married immediately, skipping the dating and engagement phases. Another has the faith and soon wants to become an assistant, without first learning to serve, obey and mature spiritually.

God works with processes. He first prepares the vase before putting the oil. Because, without structure, even the blessing becomes poison.

Make peace with sacrifice

So, dear friend, learn to value time and work. Don’t look for shortcuts. Make peace with sacrifice and build a firm foundation.

While many want the “everything now”, the true servant learns to be faithful in the little. And that’s why God sets them on much.

After all, those who build with a solid foundation never collapse.
