The Lord Jesus used to teach through stories. And one of them is the “Parable of the Sower”, in which He reports the four types of seed that fall to the earth and the different results of each one. You can find this parable in chapter 13 of the Gospel of Matthew.

I would like to focus on the first seed. Explaining it, the Lord Jesus said: “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside” (Matthew 13:19).

Pay attention to this part of the parable, which shows what happens in the hearts of at least one in four people who do not understand the Word of God. It’s as if the devil snatches what was sown and takes the seed. It’s like they never heard that Word.

I want to talk to you, who are intelligent and capable. However, while you have this intelligence for certain things, you don’t understand anything regarding the Kingdom of God.

And this happens because evil is stealing the seed, and it sows words of doubt in your heart. “Religion only wants your money.” “This doesn’t exist.” “It’s just a book of stories.” Thus, you despise seeking more of God and continue with life.

I’m sure God is using this word to talk to sincere people. Therefore, just as you have endeavoured to seek knowledge on a subject, if you strive to seek God, He will reveal Himself to you.
