According to Moses in Psalm 90, yesterday I reached about half of my life’s useful years. If the first half was anything to go by, I can’t wait for the second one…

But whatever number of years we’re allowed in this life, may God bless us with the vigour that was in Moses, who lived to 120 and yet “his eyesight was sharp; he still walked with a spring in his step.” (Deuteronomy 34.7)

May God also teach us to live well, to live wisely and well! May we learn how to make the most of the time we have in this life.
